About me
I am a very busy mother of 5. We homeschool our kids and we also feed 60 college age kids at our home once a week. My kitchen is a busy, messy, fun place to be. I just received a Kitchen Aid Mixer from some dear friends and have been really enjoying baking as well as making some wicked mashed potatoes. I found BigOven through my iTouch apps and am really happy to be here. My hobbies are photography, reading, playing flute and singing. I live "in the now" and have trouble with time. It chases me and rules my world sometimes, but mostly I just ignore it and get along just fine.
My Favorite Foods
I love eating Thai food, but have never made any at home that I like. I make a lot of Mexican and Italian food at home. Taco soup is a favorite with our younger crowd. Anything "taco" is a hit around here. I love to make Dutch baby pancakes for breakfast, served with frozen berries, whip cream and powdered sugar. I love a good cup of coffee. Americano's with whole milk and a splenda are my favorites.
