My name is Liane. I am Austrian but I live in Mexico since many years. I am a grandmother of 8 grandchildren.

My main hobby is cooking, baking, etc., and since 10 years I send recipes to a jewish mexican magazine called FORO (FORUM in English), my other hobby is painting (watercolor and pastel) and I enjoy classical music and I go to concerts regularly. I also have many friends and we get together every three weeks to play cards, also we go to the movies and to the theater once in a while, but since we know each other for many, many years, we are very close. I love life and I always keep busy and there don't seem to be e nough hours in the day to do all the things I love and I want to do. There are two dishes which I particulrely like. One is Mexican called MOLE POBLANO  and the other one is Austrian, WIENERSCHNITZEL.

One of my special memory is helping my grandmother in the kitchen at the age of 12 .She didn't want my help at first, but I was very persistant and she finally accepted my help.

My other memory is cooking for the different Jewish Holydays which I always celebrate at home in the company of my family and friends.
