About me
I live in a small town in Alabama,have retired to take care of my parents, who have been
ill. I love to read for relaxation when I'm not busy caring for the family. When we have
time a camping trip with long walks has to be my favorite pasttime. Cooking and making up
recipes is the next best thing and then sharing the recipes with family and friends.
My Favorite Foods
I have no real favorite dish, I like to try new meals if possible. The food today is
mostly preprepared and I love to experiment with what I have in the pantry. I have many
recipes that where handed down in the family and from generations back. These are always
favorites. My families favortie todate is the Blueberry Cream Cheese Pie I make. This and other dessert recipes are always a hit, especially at holidays and when all the family
can get home to sit down and socialize together.Quick and easy is best sometime, but I prefer a family sit down and relaxed meal time.
