About me

I'm a professor, and I have four kids.  So time is tight at my house.  I enjoy good food, but I don't have time to cook most days.  So we eat in a frenzy during the week and enjoy a more laidback lifestyle on weekends.  Picnics, boisterous holiday gatherings centered around food, and unusual snacks are my family's favorites, but I enjoy having savory and stylish food all the time!

@lorfat12: Thanks. I thought that was probably the way to go, but wanted to double-check with some others. :) My hubby buys whatever salt is at eye-level or hand-level, without reading the label, so we sometimes end up with salted on-hand that I rarely use.

Hello there. this is what I do with the salted butter. I just eliminate the salt in the recipe.I like butter and the taste so I go for taste rather than going without it.
