About me
Besides loving to try new and different recipes, I am an avid World of Warcraft player. I enjoy playing all kinds of computer games in my spare time. Crocheting baby items is another of my favorite pastimes, though arthritis is putting a halt to the enjoyment. I was raised on a farm and my cooking leans toward the old tried and true recipes with my own little kicks thrown in for a change.
My Favorite Foods
Chicken... fried, baked, broiled... walking, dancing ... you name it!... I love Chicken!...lol. Of course being from the south, Southern Fried Chicken is my favorite.
Love the ease of slow cooker recipes and casseroles. Pound cakes of all kinds and homemade donuts have to top my list of favorite desserts. Fresh fruit cobblers topped with ice cream is another love of mine.
Seasoned potatoes is a veggie favorite. Baked sweet potatoes made into a variety of dishes are always a treat in the fall. Love mustard and turnip greens mixed together and fried in "fat back" grease is a southern delight. ( Just about a table spoon of grease! Gotta watch the cholesterol.)
