About Me I am a recently retired home care nurse who now has much more time to spend on making those special dishes. I received bigoven.com as a Christmas present last year and have used it many times. My hubby and I usually try to make something special and different every Saturday evening. I have two great sons who are married and have provided me with 3 lovely granddaughters. The picture above is Rachel, age 3. We enjoy camping, fishing and boating. I have a nice little vegetable garden that I use to gather some of the makings for my dinners. Some of my favorite foods As we are getting older, we try to eat more healthy. We have learned to adapt many recipes to lower fat versions which are still tasty. We have also been eating more vegetarian type foods.
