About me
I live in rual Florida (panhandle) and do market farming for a living. My hobbies including cooking and 1960 era muscle cars. The farm started as a chose and cut Chrismas Tree farm. I also am a beginner bee keeeper. I have three hives at the present time and have them for pollination. I grow herbs and am heading toward organic growing. I do have a varment problem on the farm.
My plans are to have an active farmers market at the farm in 2010. My background for this endevor is that, many years ago, I came off a farm in upstate NY where my grandparents ran a farm market. Just a chip off the old block! I am retired Navy and a retired Fosterer. WVU, 1962.
My Favorite Foods
My favorite foods are of Italian derivation and Bar-B-Que. I also enjoy giving small dinner parties at my house. A lot of what I cook, I live alone, is just good old Comfort Food! I do try to use what I grow. I am expanding my baking techniques.
