Hi Gina, Thank you so much for the medal. I am glad you enjoyed the apple turnovers. It was our favorite growing up. My mom always made those for us. I still make them often. By the way, you have so many wonderful recipes! Great job on posting so many... in the short time you've been here!

Hi there Battenburg cake is a british favorite - a checkered pattern cake (pink and yellow) that is held together with apricot jam and rolled in marzipan...
