I worked for George at the Woodstock location and stayed on with the person who bought it from him. I've become kind of a closet chef...haunting my family with experiments galore, so we rarely go out for things that I've mastered at home. But the people who run Woodstock's location now do a pretty fine job. It's now called Beef Village. The old Beef Villa in McHenry is really quite great - Alex's. I don't know if any of the other locations are still operated similarly, but Alex's does have excellent beef. Take care!
