Live Mas at Home with these Taco Bell Inspired Recipes

Taco Bell has diehard fanatics. Their crunchy tacos, beefy burritos, and delicious nacho cheese sauce hold a special place in the hearts (and stomachs) of many foodies.

Remember in 2020 when they stopped serving Fiesta Potatoes and the Spicy Potato Soft Taco to simplify the menu? This change sent Taco Bell fanatics into a frenzy, setting a wildfire on social media, with some fans even going so far as to create petitions to bring the beloved vegetarian options back. Their cries were answered a year later when Taco Bell brought the items back! Like we said… diehard fanatics.

The Taco Bell menu has remained pretty consistent throughout the years but they aren't afraid to try new things. Last month, their number-one selling limited-time menu item, Nacho Fries, returned to the menu, much to the delight of Bell-heads everywhere. But, while some things make a comeback, others get shuffled off to the retirement home of flavor. RIP to the Taco Bell Mexican Pizza: gone but NEVER forgotten.

So while these aren't all Taco Bell copycat recipes, they are inspired by the glorious Taco Bell menu and the fast-food chain's mission to “Live Mas.”

Kitchen Sink Crunchwrap

Taco Bell's Crunchwrap Supreme is one of their more flavorful dishes. Crunchwraps are basically a wrap and quesadilla hybrid that has both a soft tortilla and a tostada shell, hence the name, crunchwrap!

Our Kitchen Sink Crunchwrap is great because it can literally be made with whatever you have in the fridge or pantry. Layer your proteins of choice with veggies. The crunchwrap is your culinary oyster.

Pro Tip: For a meatless option, replace the meat with black beans or fried tofu, both of which are high in protein and fiber.

Restaurant-Style Guacamole

Guacamole: The fresh and creamy cousin of nacho sauce and salsa. We love guacamole due to its versatility, you can use it as a dip or as a spread. And with only five ingredients and a few seasonings, this guacamole can be made fast, so you can keep your guests appetized while working on the main course.

Mexican Street Corn

We're aware that Taco Bell currently doesn't serve a corn dish. But this Mexican Street Corn dish is an absolute must-try for your next fiesta. Grilled corn with creamy mayo and sprinkle Tajin seasoning make this a perfect side dish. Serve with chips and our restaurant-style guacamole. Try it, we promise you won't regret it!

Pro tip: For a little heat and kick, add some chili powder or hot sauce!

Quick Weeknight Rotisserie Tacos

Tacos are already easy to make. Make it easier with our original Quick Weeknight Rotisserie Taco recipe. This recipe is especially great for those who are running short on time and need to get dinner served quickly. We love this recipe because it requires minimal cooking and is so easy to assemble.

Pro Tip: Cut your prep time and make this recipe even easier by buying prepared pico de gallo at your local grocer.

Tres Leches Donuts

Cinnamon sticks are great but we're biased to believe our Tres Leches donuts are better. Our Dulce de Leche recipe is so easy to make, and with a baked cake donut infused with milk, you can't go wrong with adding this to your Liv Mas at Home menu.

Done with donuts? No worries. Wrap up your feast with these delicious empanadas. Made with store-bought pie crust, this recipe takes the guesswork out of baking so you can enjoy these sweet treats with no worries.
