I made this tonight for my husband and he loved it. I read the other reviews so I cooked it for 1 hour. 40 minutes covered and 20 uncovered. I also added Parmesan cheese to the sauce and sprinkled some on top. Definitely a keeper!
This taste very good ,but we were very disappointed because it was not ready at the specified time in the recipe. We found that out at dinner time after we fixed our plates. I should have read the reviews to see that this dish should have been cooked longer . So I had to put it back in the oven for an additional 30 minutes and we will have to eat it for dinner tomorrow instead. But from what I tasted, I really enjoyed . Too bad the potatoes were not cooked completely. I will definitely make this again but will bake for at least an hour.
This was great! Followed the suggestions of other reviews and added minced garlic when I sautéed the onion. I also used season salt instead of table salt as others have suggested. Followed the rest of the recipe completely and it was awesome! Husband raved over this!
