Ground turkey provides a lean alternative to ground beef in this chili recipe. Here's a very good, simple turkey chili. It's quite versatile; it can be spiced up further with cayenne pepper and/or jalapenos.
This was really delicious chili. So easy and was great with egg the next morning in a breakfast burrito. I used Louisiana hot sauce instead of cayenne to adjust the heat as I went along. Thanks for this recipe!
WOW is all I can say. This was the best chili I ever made. I did substitute for the kidney beans, I used two cans of black beans with Jalapenos. Was a BIT thin, but I think that was just the tomatoes I decided to use, can't wait to make another batch
Enjoyed this again this week -- a great "set and forget" recipe. Seems to do better simmering for 3 hours or so. Paired with cornmeal muffins and a rainy, cold Seattle evening. Just what the doctor ordered.
