Very good, kids loved it but not a main dish. Next time I'll serve with fried mushrooms or veggies. I also doubled bacon and onions and added a bit of garlic powder. Also used 3 cups of cheese as that is a size package I got and didn't want to waste it. My kids said they want even more bacon :)
Ok I admit that while I told the entire family that I was making the stuffing and potatoes this Thanksgiving I didn't know what to expect when I began making this side dish. And for a guy with limited experience in the kitchen, I must agree with earlier review, make this dish the night before and wrap it and set in fridge overnight. 5# of peeling potatoes takes someone like me a while. But this dish is so worth it!! I was asked several times for the recipe. I think it is delicious and just left out so much salt. Not a huge fan of that much. But to each their own!
