I have made this now every year since I found this. I use fresh sweet potatoes! And it is expected when I show up for holiday dinners, or just if I make a ham, chicken, or turkey dish... :) P.S. I do not change a thing it is perfection.
My husband who tries to eat sweet potatos two times a year every year for the past 17 years I've known him insists he just does not like them. However this year for the first time he ate these sweet potatos. They are very sweet almost like a desert, which is probably why he likes them so well! I used both the pecans and marshmallows as a topping: definitely recommend this recipe!
