DELICIOUS!!! I love making this dish. It's much better if you just brown the chicken on both sides in the skillet. Let it finish cooking in the oven so the chicken will still be juicy. I also makes my own alfredo sauce which makes it taste even better. Yum!
I did not use the mayonnaise, bc I don't like it. Instead of bacon slices, I used bacon bits. I cooked the chicken on the stove prior to putting it in the oven... My husband loved it, will be making this for friends next;)
This recipe was lovely, changed it quite a bit to work with what I had. I added mushrooms and just a cup of normal cheese on top. I also added about a cup of long pasta to make it more fulling and spread out the sauce. I didn't have parsley or Parmesan but still tasted delicious :)
I changed this up a bit but husband and I love this basic idea. I added broccoli, red pepper and sun dried tomatoes sautéing all with the chicken in a tablespoon of oil. Skipped the mayo too. Probably still heavy on fat, but delicious.
Tasty! Was easy to make. I dipped the chicken in milk before breading and added salt to the breading. We're a cheese family so I used a lot more, about a cup of Colby and a cup of cheddar. I added quit a bit more mayo probably about 5-6 tbsp total, it seemed too thick with just 3 tbsp. My husband wanted more sauce so next time I'll use more Alfredo sauce.
