This was hands-down the best meatloaf my family has ever had! The flavor is amazing, so rich and robust. I used Italian breadcrumbs instead of the oats. I also used crushed garlic instead of minced. Yum, yum and yum!!!
This was phenomenal. I hate meatloaf usually, but I had seconds of this. My husband at half the loaf, and even my picky, almost two-year-old, loved it too, and even asked for seconds. I used ground turkey instead, only because that's what I had in my freezer. It took an hour to cook. I served it with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. My husband, who hates ground turkey, has asked me to make this a weekly staple (and continue to use the turkey!).
I liked this classic recipe. I substitued Italian bread crumbs because I had run out of oats. I also added two tablespoons yellow mustard because thats what I have always done.I made a smaller portion so I had to reduce the cooking time. I would definately make this again.
