These are incredibly good cookies, sweet but not too sweet, deliciously crisp on the edges but moist and chewy in the middle. I can't say for sure that these are the best oatmeal-raisin cookies in the world, but they're certainly the best ones I've made or tasted.
cookies4u ,These were the most delicious Oatmeal Cookies I have ever baked! (I used the chocolate covered raisin option.) I shared the cookies with several friends who all asked for the recipe!12y
oakdivel ,Very tasty cookie! I like that they are soft but crunchy at the same time. I will make these again.12y
cfoulke ,I have been making these for my husband since I found the recipe about 4 years ago. Hands down these are the BEST oatmeal raisin cookies ever. I always double the recipe and I add a teaspoon of cinnamon to the mixture. I also use only parchment paper, I roll generous balls of dough to make larger cookies, and bake for 13 minutes. They turn out perfect every single time and I get approximately 3 dozen cookies from the double mix. They are incredible cookies.12y
digi75 ,Incredible!! 14 min in the one and perfect consistency! Highly recommended as the perfect holiday cookie.12y
doodle84 ,LOVE THESE COOKIES!!! made them for a bake sale and they were the first to sell out. They dont need that long to bake. I only baked them for 10 mins and they turn out great. I ran out of raisins one time and used milk chocolate chips and they were awesome.12y
pedge ,Very good, but more crispy than chewy. Soaked raisins in cointreau for a more adult cookie12y
hildev ,I replaced the raisins with a mixture of plain and milk choc chunks (no-one who knows me would be surprised at that!!) and the cookies are gorgeous, especially slightly warm! The dough seemed quite stiff and needs pressing down a bit otherwise cookies take longer to cook.13y
infinivert ,I added a little cinnamon and used green raisins that I had soaked in brandy. So good!13y
tycola ,Great oatmeal raisin cookies. Followed recipe but use half regular oatmeal and half cinnamon apple oatmeal.13y
adw899 ,Excellent oatmeal raisin cookies. I baked them just as the recipe said. Batter was thick and the cookies were very good. Thanks for posting this recipe.13y
deedee2464 ,Followed recipe had to turn temp down due to burning on bottom an raw in middle. Ended up way crunchier than I like.13y
jmschaub ,I tried for 12 minutes and that was a tad to long. But it seems to have good flavor and is very filling. I guess I should have read the comments before cooking. I noticed others cooked for 11 minutes.13y
aspdenl ,Excellent. My hubby is very fussy about his Oatmeal Raisin Cookies and these are a hit. Nice and chewy and buttery!13y
lyoness2010 ,Would make these again defo. But to me oat and raisin cookies NEED cinamon. i intend to try them with a ruduction in sugar next time. simple, delicious recipe. thanks for posting.13y
bellicosepunk ,Good flavor! Only downside to me was that they turn out a little too thin.13y
crfoulke ,I have made these NUMEROUS times as they are my husband's absolute all-time favorites!!!!! I always double the recipe and I always add a teaspoon of ground cinnamon to my dry ingredients. I also find that once I have everything incorporated into one large bowl, I have better luck mixing them with my clean hands before I put them on a cookie sheet. The parchment paper works great. I make them kinda big so I usually get about 3 dozen cookies from a double batch. They are WONDERFUL!!!!! Thanks sgriska!!!!13y
helencrawford ,I added M&Ms, I also soaked the raisins for 40 minutes in boiling water (mom's trick), and I doubled the recipe and baked them for 11 minutes. This is a great recipe!14y
kymtnmama ,Excellent! Used Splenda white, "normal" light brown sugar. Added cinnamon, fresh grated nutmeg, zest of about 1/2 lemon. Used half raisins and half craisins with a few dried blueberries and cranberries thrown in just for fun. The hub and his porch-sitting friends gobbled them up and asked if I was going to bake any more today.14y
tjcooker ,Great taste and texture. Dough seemed dry and a little difficult to spoon, but it worked!15y
davipianos ,These cookies came out delicious! However, the next time I make them I will use cookie rings to keep them uniform as they did melt out in the pan and connect to each other. They were still very good though!15y
