This green salad with its dressing is wonderfully authentic in taste to the salad served at the "Olive Garden" restaurants. The dressing recipe makes enough dressing to cover a large bowl of salad. I only use two thirds of the dressing, but use more according to your taste. I like to use homemade extra large croutons in this recipe.
marilulis ,This was really tasty! My son who loves Olive Garden salad said it was really good and asked for more!11y
ohserenaxx107 ,I only made the sauce, not the salad. Guests really liked it! I kind of tweaked it based on my taste but I always do that. Will definitely make again some time.11y
elizabethd002 ,Close. First I would like to say that peperoncini and banana peppers are not the same thing. Use peperoncini. Second Olive Garden does not grate parmesan cheese they grate pecorino romano cheese. It is an iceburg romane salad mix. And last but not least you are able to puchase the Olive Garden salad dressing in a nice 11oz. glass vessel. Close on the dressing tangy and tasty. Kudos.11y
krisinzeller ,I used this recipe, with a few tweaks to the salad portion, at a family get together of 24 people. I was concerned because of the mixed reviews I'd read. We had 16 teens and younger at the gathering and they all LOVED the dressing. Whether it tastes like Olive Gardens or not, it made passing grades overall!11y
skifer ,This recipe is fantastic! I do enjoy Olive Garden's salads. I did mix the dressing and let stand for a couple of hours in the refrigerator and did add to my salad about a half hour before serving and the salad was perfect. In fact, I have shared this recipe with several people.11y
heatherferg ,I halved the amount of vinegar and used white wine vinegar. Delicious salad.11y
