This recipe is SO good! I used the applesauce sub as well and it turned out great! I had to bake the loaf a little longer than the cupcakes and I couldn't find the box of sugar so I used 2 & 1/2 cups of powdered sugar and it worked great!
Absolutely wonderful!! Made 1 loaf and the rest into small muffins. I wasn't going to frost them, but decided to anyway. The cream cheese frosting definitely made them taste almost like carrot cake...yummm
I used a bundt pan and baked for about 55 minutes. The frosting was a little thinner than I'd hoped...I may even make it thinner next time to use it as more of a drizzle. I liked the idea of substituting applesauce in lieu of the oil. Great recipe!
This bread came out super yummy! I substituted 2/3 cup apple sauce and only used 1/3 cup oil to cut down on the amount of oil and it worked perfect. I also added some ground ginger, cloves and a little nutmeg as well! Absolutely love it and will definitely make it again!
