cmlewis ,This is now my signature appetizer to take to parties. I never take any home. I love the flavour the horseradish adds.12y
srhphotodesign ,I twisted this recipe last night as I felt the mayo would disrupt the bacon flavor. So I scoured the kitchen and modified it by adding: 3 strips bacon, .5 cup cheddar cheese, 2 tbsp maple syrup, 1 tsp raspberry sugar, 2 tbsp Miracle Whip and a touch of salt and pepper. It has the consistency of cookie dough and is very pleasing taste wise. Thank you for the original idea! 212y
demartin ,these are amazing and a complete hit at the party... everything is better with bacon!12y
weatherkitty ,These deviled eggs were DEVOURED at two different parties...two days in a row! Bacon bits really made this recipe unique.12y
nittanynelle ,Probably some of the best reviled eggs I've ever had... And I made them! Thanks for a wonderfully easy recipe!12y
tripletmama ,These did not impress me at all! I made them the other day for my parents and sister and we were all very bummed! They looked fantastic but the texture and flavor were horrible! We are used to a smooth filling and the bacon felt weird and also got chewy or soggy since I made them and served them 2 hours later. I added the chives right in the filling instead and that resulted in an almost "puke" flavor!! I may attempt them again but use no chives at all and just garnish each egg with a big chunck of bacon on top instead of putting it in the filling so it keeps it crispness!13y
whitelp ,I made this just to try out on my husband & mother. We all loved them! I don't make deviled eggs often, but when i do, I will be using this recipe. It is sure to be a crowd pleaser!13y
tayana37 ,Yes, but the eggs do not have to be a week old. Just place them in ice water after cooking and they will peel great!13y
fam2749 ,Everyone loved them. A great change from the standard deviled egg recipes I've used for years!13y
sittingduck1215 ,I was out of horse radish so I put some chili powder in instead, I don't think I had my plate out for more then an hour before everything was gone! Very good!13y
chefhoward76 ,How do you improve a classic deviled egg recipe, add bacon and cheese that's how. DELICIOUS! The horseradish was perfect.14y
nocardtricks ,I tired this recipe and found it to be a hit amongst coworkers at my Thanksgiving lunch at work. The bacon was a brilliant addition to a customary recipe. Looking forward to making these at my families Thanksgiving dinner!14y
nmcntmc ,I made this at a party, and everyone loved them. I didn't have a pastry bag, which I feel hindered people from eating them, as they looked pretty sloppy. But once it was in their mouths, I heard nothing but praises. Thanks so much for posting this recipe, I will most definately use it again! :)14y
sgrishka ,Easy to do and totally delicious. The combination of bacon, cheddar cheese, mustard and horeradish made for some very tasty deviled eggs. I made a few modifications from the original recipe to suit our tastes. I used smoked paprika in place of plain, and instead of garnishing the eggs with chives, used extra bacon. After frying up 6 pieces of thick-cut bacon, I broke two slices into largish pieces to use as a garnish and chopped the remaining bacon into very small pieces for the filling. The smoked paprika not only added visual appeal but also enhanced the smokiness of the bacon in the filling. The crispiness of the bacon garnish added an extra crunch. Basically, a very good deviled eggs recipe that we'll use again.14y
