Cook sausage and onion until the sausage in fully cooked. Combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl and then add the sausage and onions mixture. Pour the mixture into a 9 x 13 pan and bake at 350 for about 35 to 40 minutes. Let the casserole stand for about 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
