Cuisine: Main Ingredient: Pork loin
klinette ,This was really easy and tasted fantastic. Will be making again an again and have it on my menu for a holiday meal. Served it with pasta, olive oil, and asiago cheese.
judyjag ,Cooked a 3 lb bone in roast using rub and glaze as described in the recipe except did not use bacon. Roasted fat side up at 400 convection for 10 mins then reduced to 325 convection for 1 hour, then only about 5 mins after glazing; delicious! A great change from our usual garlic-herb or bbq pork roast. Will make for company with the bacon! Thanks for posting.
cjhenry8 ,Awesome! I cooked it lower and slower. Around 300 and kept checking with the meat thermometer. I doubled the dry rub to make sure that I had enough but it was probably too much. The recipe does have enough as written.
kayjazz ,How much longer did you need to cook at the lower temp? I am trying this recipe today and using a 3+ pound pork loin.
cahandel ,I slowed down the roasting by lowering the temp to 250° on a 3 lb roast. This was outrageously delicious and I will be making this for my next dinner party. Made with mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus with Balsamic vinegar and garlic. Also, doubled the glaze.
atlkams ,Great flavor though I did modify two things. Used red pepper flakes instead of black pepper and garlic salt instead of regular salt.
alistairmartin796 ,Just made this and it was fantastic! Used white wine instead of cider vinegar and approx 50mls to make it go further, still was delicious!
