1 Mix the sugar and egg yolks in a blender for one minute. Add the vanilla and blend one minute. Add the cream cheese and blend until smooth. Chill.
2 Beat the whipping cream until stiff. Add the cream cheese mixture and chill.
3 In a large bowl, gently mix the berries with 4 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of water and set aside. Cut the cake loaves into 1-inch cubes.
4. In a large glass bowl (at least 10-cup capacity), place 2 cups of the cake pieces in a single layer. Next, spread 1 cup of the cream cheese mixture over the cake pieces. Arrange 2 cups of the berries over the pudding. Repeat with cake, cream cheese mixture and berries for the second layer. For the third layer, arrange 3 cups of cake pieces, 2 cups of the cream cheese mixture and then 3 cups of the berries. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour to chill.
