Suggest a better descriptionRemove skin and fat from chicken pieces. Wash well and place pieces in large pot, cover with cold water. Slowly bring to a boil and skim foam from the top from time to time. Add a cup of water at a time, bringing to boil again and skimming. Repeat several times. Add water to desired quantity. Bring to boil. Add chicken soup powder. Mix. Put in celery leaves, parsley leaves, and the celery root and parsley root. Cover and let simmer for an hour to two hours. Cut up carrots, potatoes, squash. Add carrots & garlic to soup, continue cooking. Add small onions, potatoes & squash. Continue cooking until the vegetables are soft.
