Spicy habanero-agave syrup. Use it in fresh squeezed juice or cocktails to give them a kick! Or use it anywhere you'd like a bit of sweet and spicy.
Before starting this project, make sure you have, and wear gloves. If you don't have gloves, be creative and use some plastic wrap. The oil from habanero peppers tends to stay on your hands a while, even after washing, so you'll want to protect them.
In a small sauce pan over medium heat add the agave, sliced habanero, and water.
Heat to steaming but not boiling, about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and cool.
Strain out the habanero pieces and seeds.
Store in a glass container. Will keep in the refrigerator for 3 weeks.
