Suggest a better descriptionHeat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat until shimmering. Add onions, bell pepper, chili powder, cumin, cayenne, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Cook until vegetables have softened, about 7 min. Stir in garlic and cook 15 seconds.
Add ground turkey. Sprinkle with Montreal Steak seasoning and increase heat to medium-high. Cook, breaking up the meat with a spoon, until no longer pink. Stir in the beans, diced tomatoes with their juice, tomato puree, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook 45 min.
Remove lid and continue to simmer until meat is tender, about 45 min. Season with S&P to taste before serving.
