Almond cookie topped with sliced almond
Combine first 3 ingedients. Set aside. Cream butter gradually adding sugar. Beat until light and fluffy. Stir in vanilla, almond and whole egg. Beat well. Add dry ingredients. In separate bowl, combine yolk and water. Set aside. Shape dough into 3/4 inch balls and press almonds in center of cookie and brush with yolk. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 for 10-12 min.
