Cover cookie sheet with foil. Cover with crackers. Sprinkle almonds on crackers. Boil butter and brown sugar in a heavy-bottomed pot for 4 minutes on med-low. Spoon mixture over almonds. Bake at 375 degrees for 7 mins. Watch carefully as it burns very easily. Cool slightly. Melt semisweet chocolate chips or baking chocolate in a double boiler and spread on top. Cut.
