Combine first four ingredients in a large bowl. Combine next 3 ingredients in a pan. Boil mixture for 6 minutes, stirring continually and scraping side of pan often. Pour hot mixture in a bowl and stir until completely dissolved. Pour into butter 8x8 pan. Chill for several hours. When firm, cut into squares. Store in a cool place.
