A tasty onion and sour cream pizza traditional to the Alsace region of France
Peel and chop the onions.
Heat the butter in a frypan and brown the onions well in it to remove moisture and make them a bit crispy.
Drain the onions into a bowl and cool.
Chop the bacon into small pieces and fry it in a frypan till it is crispy.
Add it to the cooling onions.
Heat an oven to 250degC.
Oil a pizza baking tray with olive oil.
Roll out the bread dough to cover a pizza baking tray and leave it to rest.
Mix the flour into a paste with the apple juice.
Then add the eggs and sour cream to the flour paste and mix thoroughly.
When the onion mix is cool, add the cream mix to it and mix thoroughly.
Spread the onion/cream mix over the pizza base.
Sprinkle salt, pepper, cumin or caraway to taste, over the pizza.
Cook it in the hot oven for about 25 minutes.
