- Brown ground beef
- Add olive oil and sweat onions, peppers, and fresh garlic until softened
- Add tomato sauce and paste
- Add spices
- Increase heat stirring frequently for 15 minutes
- Lower temp to med low and simmer for 30-60 minutes
