Day 1: Place starter in a larger container with a lid.
Day 2, 3, & 4: Stir once a day
Day 5: Add 1 cup sugar, 1 cup flour, 1 cup milk. Stir well.
Day 6, 7, 8, & 9: Stir well once a day.
Day 10: Add same ingredients as Day 5. Stir well and pour 1 cup of mixture into each of 3 containers to
give to friends. (You can also use 1 gal. Ziploc bags.)
Put remaining batter into a large bowl, add the following, and stir well:
1 cup oil 3 eggs
1/2 cup milk 1 tsp. vanilla
In a separate bowl, mix together:
2 cups flour 1/2 tsp. soda
1 cup sugar 2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt 1 lg. box instant vanilla pudding
1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 cup nuts, chopped
Pour into 2 well greased bread pans. Bake at 325° for 1 hour. Cool for 10 min. before removing from pans. Dried fruits and different pudding flavors can also be used. Bread freezes well.
