Stir all ingredients until well mixed. Pour into well-greased and floured or sugared loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
Optional: You may add 1 cup fruit and/or 1/2 cup nuts or 1 cup chocolate chips and 3/4 cup coconut.
Do not use metal. Do not refrigerate. Use wood, plastic or glass bowl and spoon.
Day 1: Do nothing!
Day 2,3,4: Stir only
Day 5: Add 1 cup each of flour, sugar, and milk; stir well. (starter)
Day 6,7,8,9: Stir only
Day 10: Add 1 cup each of flour, sugar, and milk; stir well.
Makes 4 cups.
Take out 3 seperate starts-1 cup each. Put in 3 seperate containers. Give 2 away with this recipe and keep the 3rd for yourself.
Use the 4th part to make Amish Friendship Bread.
