Cream butter, sugar, eggs & vanilla. Stir in peanut butter. Sift dry ingredients together, stir into creamed mixture.
Drop by rounded tablespoons on ungreased cookie sheet. Press with back of fork dipped in sugar to make criss cross.
Bake for 8 -10 minutes
