Suggest a better description1. Add the cider, brown sugar, bourbon, pumpkin pie spice to a large pot.
2. Cook on medium high, stirring until the liquid reduces and becomes slightly thickened like a glaze. 10 to 15 minutes.
3. Add the butter and stir to melt. Taste to season with S & P.
4. Using plenty of foil create a bed for the for the ham. Place the ham in the center and pull the sides up around it.
5. Pour 1/2 of the glaze over the ham, be sure to let it run into the spirals.
6. Finish tightly wrapping the ham and place it on a rack in a roasting pan.
7. Add water to the bottom of the pan. Do not let it touch the ham.
8. Cook in a 325 degree oven to 340 degrees. 15 to 20 minutes per pound.
9. Remove the ham and raise the temp to 400 degrees.
10 Open the ham and brush on the remaining glaze. Reseal the ham return to the oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
