Suggest a better description1) Butter a 2-21/2 qt baking dish. Heat oven to 350.
2) Peel, seed, and cut squash into small slices. Core apples, peel and cut into thin slices. Toss squash and apples together and put in baking dish.
3) Combine sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg; cut in butter with fork until crumbly. Sprinkle crumbs over squash and apples.
4) Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes, or until squash is tender.
