2. To prepare the oatmeal: Shake the container well to ensure the ingredients are well mixed. In a saucepan, bring 1/2 cup of water to a boil. Measure out and stir 1/2 cup of the mixture, cook and stir for 1 minute over medium heat. Remove from the heat and cover, let sit for 1 minute or longer depending on desired consistency.
