If using refrigerated crust, soften and place in pie plate. Spread apples in crust. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar. Dot with 3 Tbls butter. Sprinkle with 1 tsp cinnamon. For topping, mix flour, sugar, walnuts and cinnamon. Cut in butter until moist clumps form. Sprinkle topping over filling. Bake at 350 degrees about 1 hour. Cover crust edges with foil if browning too much.
