In another bowl, cut the butter into the flour and stir in remaining topping ingredients.
Spray interior of 9x13" baking dish with cooking spray or wipe with vegetable oil. Spread apple mixture in bottom. Top with topping mixture. Bake at 350? for approximately one hour or until apples are cooked and topping is brown and bubbly. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
I used a premium ground cinnamon that I purchased at World Market with this recipe. It really made a difference.
