combine 8 cups apples with lemon zest and 2 TBS juice-1/2 cup sugar 1/2 tsp cinnamon. 1/2 tsp fresh grated nutmeg or use pumpkin pie spice
put into a buttered 13x9 pan
sprinkle topping over
Bake 350 for one hour until top is golden and apples bubbly
