Enjoyed while at a scrapbook weekend. But I played with it to make it my own.
Peel and core two apples and chop the one remaining apple. Cut apples into 8 slices each. Roll each apple slice in a crescent roll. Place 2 tablespoons butter in a 9 X 13 baking pan and melt. Place rolled apples in the pan over the melted butter. Melt butter, then add brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and stir; pour over apples. Pour Mountain Dew around the edges of the pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream topped with caramel sauce.
