Suggest a better descriptionStir 2 c. mix and water; set aside. Stir remaining mix and sugar; cut in ¼ c. butter until crumbly. Stir in chopped pecans; set aside. Combine apples and remaining ¼ c. butter in large saucepan; cook, stirring often, 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Spoon hot mixture evenly into a lightly grease 11 X 7-inch baking dish. Spoon gingerbread over filling; sprinkle with pecan mixture. Bake at 375* F. for 30 to 35 minutes or until set.
