This is a spiced dessert soup that is best served cold, in chilled bowls.
To make soup: In slow cooker, combine cinnamon, cloves, allspice, nutmeg, water, cider, apple slices and raisins. Cover. Cook on low for
6 hours or until apples are quite soft.
To puree soup: Using immersion blender or in batches in blender, process soup until all apple solids and most of raisins are pureed.
Stir in lemon juice, honey and brandy.
To chill: Chill for several hours.
To serve: Just before serving, whisk in yogurt. Serve in chilled bowls. Garnish with apple slices or chopped nuts.
