Combine flour, shortening, and salt until crumbly, make a volcano center in four and add the water and vinegar. Mix wtih fork only until moistened. Roll out on a floured surface. Place in center of the pie pan. Dot holes in bottom crust with a fork.
Pie Filling:
Combine peeled/sliced apples with sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Place filling in a pie tin on bottom crust. Cut butter into small pieces and dot on top. Roll out a top pie crust - pinch edges and cut venting slots in top crust. sprinkle with sugar. bake in microwave 16 minutes. Then bake 425 for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.

Bake in the oven at 450 for 50 minutes
