Katie's Award Winning Pie!!
Preheat oven to 375ยบ. Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add this mixture to thinly sliced apples. Fill a 9-inch pie pastry with apple mixture. Put on top crust. Dot with butter. Seal and decorate edge with a fork. Seal the edge of the pie with foil. Bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 20 to 25 more minutes or until crust is golden.
