Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour 2 9x5 loaf pans. Sift together first 4 ingredients and set aside. Combine sugar, pumpkin, eggs, oil and juice. Mix until just blended. Add pumpkin mix to flour mix and stir until just blended. Fold in apple and spoon into pans. Bake 65 to 70 minutes. Cool in pans 10 minutes. For 5 or 6 5x3 loaf pans, bake 55 to 60 minutes.
