Heat oven to 350. Grease bundt cake pan. Prepare apple filling and reserve. Beat sugar, butter, vanilla and eggs in a large bowl on medium speed for 2 minutes scrapping bowl occasionally. Beat in flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt alternately with sour cream on low speed.
Spread 1/3 batter (about 2 cups) in pan. Sprinkle with 1/3 of the apple filling (about 1/3 cup). Repeat two times. Bake one hour or until toothpick comes out clean. Cook 20 minutes. Remove from pan and place on wire rack. Cool Completely. Drizzle with glaze.
Cook all ingredients except nuts in saucepan over medium heat 3 to 4 minutes stirring constantly, until apples are tender. Stir in nuts.
Mix all ingredients until smooth and drizzling consistency.
