Try this Apple Tea Loaf recipe, or contribute your own.
Suggest a better description-Sift flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon onto wax paper.
-Cream butter/margarine and sugar in a large electric mixing bowl at high speed until fluffy.
-Add eggs, one at a time ,beating well after each addition.
-Turn mixture to low.
-Add dry ingredients alternately with grated apple beginning and ending with dry ingredients, mixing just to blend
-Spoon butter/margarine into greased and floured 8"X 4 1/2" X 2" loaf pan.
-Bake in moderate oven (350°) for 50 minutes or until golden brown, or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
-Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes.
-Loosen loaf around edges and invert onto wire rack.
-Cool completely.
(Makes one medium-size loaf)
