Preheat oven to 325 & lightly grease a 9x5 loaf pan.
Stir flour with baking powder, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg in medium bowl.
Beat butter with sugar in large bowl, until smooth.
Beat in eggs until completely combined.
Stir in applesauce and gradually add flour mixture until combined.
Stir in raisins and scrape batter into prepared pan.
Bake until centre loaf comes out clean approx. 1 hour & 10 min.
Cool completely on cooling rack.
