Peel and core apples. Slice. Put into 3-4 quart pan with water. Cover and bring to boil. Turn heat to low, keep covered and cook for about 30 minutes. Until apples are tender. Mash apples. Taste. If needed add sugar and cinnamon. Add a few large spoonfuls of orange concentrate.
Red delicious don't taste good when cooked.
If using honey crisp don't need sugar.
If canning don't add OJ
Pint and quart size process for 20 minutes.
